Third-party certifications are great — but they are just the beginning


Many ITAD vendors proudly point to NAID, ISO, and other third-party certificates as “proof” of their performance. The truth is these certificates are the minimum you should get from an ITAD vendor.

The goal of R2 certification is to create a standard for handling universal waste and to protect the environment. While NAID certifies information destruction companies to help ensure the secure destruction of data. This is very different from a defense platform that protects you only if something goes wrong.
